How to Commission Vellum Faux Books - What We Need to Know

If you can provide the overall dimensions (in mm or inches) of the area you would like covered in faux books, we will give you a quotation. (A plan or sketch is very helpful) We need to know if the false shelves are already in place ( more.. FAQs false shelves) and, if so, the height between them. The Look

 Formal or Informal?

If informal - just some horizontal books or deckled edges above the vertical, or would you also like the look of stacks of books lying horizontally on their sides? Colours The choice of colour here refers only to the background strip behind the book title. This is normally left the same as the overall of white / cream colour of the spine or a pastel contrast colour ( pink / peach / bown /grey)

Towards you		Away from you
	You could use the frame or surround to look like a bookcase frame.   < Towards you - the frame can be built up around the door / faux books so that the thickness of the books ( 25mm* ) falls within it.   > Away from you - a standard door architrave acts as the bookcase frame.            * N.B. paperbacks require 35mm
