Nigloland Theme Park, France

We were asked to provide Faux Books for a new pirate-themed restaurant at Nigloland, one of France’s most visited theme parks. The brief was to create the look of an 18th Century “Salle de Savoirs” and enhance the piratical theme for the guests. Using primarily reds and greens in our Traditional colourway we created 21 unique shelf layouts with our informal presentation style for a truly stunning final result.

Sussex House Gatwick

Sussex House, Gatwick Airport

We were asked by Emma Wood Interiors to create multiple areas of our Traditional formal style of books for a beautiful new split-level restaurant in Gatwick Airport, to create a sense of sophistication and destination to tie into their scheme inspired by the Sussex countryside and English Country House aesthetic. Within our traditional colourway we used reds and greens to blend with the overall colour scheme of the restaurant.

This design features a stunning curve detail on the bulkhead of the bar, and the strong verticals of the books pair beautifully with the ‘kit kat’ style tiles used for the bar columns below. Due to the airport location our materials had to be carefully considered to ensure they followed all the necessary safety guidelines, including using our special fire-retardant faux book panels and ensuring they could be affixed to blast-proof aluminium.
